We are going to start working on a helicopter style UAV with infrared camera and digital cameras. Essnetially you fly the bird with your IPAD via 802.11 with a special range extender. In the event of connectivity loss the helicopter flies back to a predetermined position.
Whats the most useful if you can make targets and the helicopter can follow the target until its out of range.
The other idea is for people to inspect their fields and properties. Maybe even fence lines. Thanks for Chris Gonzalez, maybe we can make this possible.
Think Tank
Everything in here are my genuine and original ideas. Feel free to use the ideas as long as we can come to a mutual arrangement.

Wireless Encryption
Why are we forced to use a preshared key that everyone else has? Why cant we connect to a wireless access point and choose our own passwords. I had the idea today while having lunch with a friend. They told me the password to the wireless was anything I wanted it to be. Obviously they were wrong. However, it made perfect sense. My traffic could be as secure as I wanted it to be from everyone else.

Email vs Fmail vs Gmail
Its not that facebook is going to get email or whatever. No one addresses the issue of technology being able to follow you. I should have one account that you can send a message and it will reach me by voicemail, email, sms, and phone call or some mixture of them all.
Thats the real problem and maybe the wrong solution. You should have one way to contact me and be assured that I will be contacted.

Jitterbug Laptop
It seems all too often in todays world we need things to do more, create more, and give us tons more options that are merely stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.
Maybe we need an operating system and computer that has large print, big keys, and large icons. Something so very simple that even our older generations can use it. I'm talking a brower with just four buttons across the top. Im talking an email client with an Inbox and a simple calendar. I'm talking a program made just for sharing family photos with your grandmother.
Our older generations do not use computers because they are too complicated, too much change, too many other reasons. Keep it simple stupid. There would be a very large market for a jitterbug type laptop and by that I mean "cash hand over fist".

Cell Phone Ring Tones
You could build a database of famous things or let someone else upload something and then you can make a custom ring tone.

Microsoft Best Practices
I must be the only IT professional who still believes the best systems are the ones designed for your use, not everyone's use.
